Cooper County generally follows Statewide and National trends several weeks to a month later in covid trends. For the month of November Cooper County was hit hard in the last 9 nine days with cases tripling from 30-35 per week to 106 cases. Please keep getting vaccinated, wearing a mask, and keeping your distance please. Handwashing is always critical.
Walk-In Covid vaccination clinics are held every Thursday from 9am to 12noon and 1:00pm to 5:00pm without an appointment. Ages 5 and up are eligible.
Influenza strain B has been reported in Cooper County. The health center is out of flu vaccine. If you have the opportunity to get vaccinated do not turn it down. Masks, distance and handwashing will help reduce influenza also.
Make good decisions and be safe out there. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Melanie Hutton RN, MSN Administrator
