Cooper County Public Health Center names new Administrator

Cooper County Public Health Center, a health and human services organization serving the
Cooper County community since 1928, has named Scott Clardy as its new Administrator.

“We are very pleased to announce our new administrator.” Reports Patty Dick- Board Chair of
Cooper County Public Health Center. "Scott brings the leadership skills and expertise in public
health programs that will bring great benefits to the citizens of Cooper County."

"I look forward to continuing the Cooper County Public Health Center's mission and building
relationships with other civic organizations in the area. Cooper County Public Health Center is
important to the citizens of Cooper County, and I am eager to be a part of that team," remarks
Clardy.

Scott will bring additional leadership, energy, and creativity to the health center’s programs
and a deep commitment to our community. Scott is a lifelong resident of central Missouri and
obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri. He has served several
leadership roles within public health, most recently serving as Deputy Director of the Kansas
City Health Department. He will begin his new role on July 3, 2023.
