First Position
Program Representative & Peer Breastfeeding Counselor


Duties: answer phone, greet clients, enter information into WIC system. Issue WIC debit cards. Schedule WIC appointments, assist WIC Coordinator in program performance goals. Must have personal experience in breastfeeding your own child/children. Public relations work and outreach for breastfeeding program. Will be providing breastfeeding education to clients. Required to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media advertising. Will be required to perform finger sticks on clients, measure height and weight on babies and adults. Other duties will include front desk support of patient services, and general administrative duties in support of all programs. Occasional evening hours and weekends may be required. EOE services provided in a non-discriminatory manner. Applicant must be able to demonstrate through resume skills in Microsoft Office Suite, public relations, and social media skills. References must be able to confirm skills/ work performance as listed through employment, volunteer duties and or school. High School diploma will be the minimal education required. A healthcare degree is preferred. Full benefits that are provided are vacation, sick leave, retirement, thirteen paid holidays, and paid health insurance (including dental and vision). Second Position
Health Program Representative


The Cooper County Public Health Center has an opening for a health program representative who will serve the public from the front desk reception area. Medical billing experience, Microsoft Office proficiency required. Will be performing a variety of programmatic tasks within the vital records, immunizations, vaccine management, and communicable disease programs including covid. Computer data entry, analytical skills, creating tables and graphs, customer service – answering phone, making appointments, general office duties, assisting other staff members with duties as assigned. Must be a collaborator, enjoy children and working with the public. General Hours are 9-5 may be required to work an occasional evening or weekend. Must have valid driver’s license and vehicle for attending training and in-services. Starting salary is $18.00 per hour. Full time position Monday through Friday 9:00- 5:00. Thirty-five-hour work week. Benefits include health insurance 100% paid for employee, vacation, sick leave, twelve holidays, retirement plan. Equal Opportunity Employer. Public Notice

The Cooper County Board of Trustees meets the second Tuesday of each month at Cooper County Public Health Center and virtually.

Board meeting day and times may change with 24 hours’ notice. Board meetings may be canceled due to inclement weather, holidays or the inability to attain a quorum.

 The meeting begins at 5:00 P. M. unless otherwise announced.

The meeting notices are posted on the inside of the main lobby door for viewing by those interested.

The Cooper County Public Health Center is a RSMO 205 county health political subdivision.

The office is located at 17040 Klinton Dr. in the Village of Windsor. 

Those wishing to make public comment at a Board of Trustees meetings are to notify

the Public Health Administrator no later than 12:00 p.m. on the Friday before the scheduled Board of Trustees meeting.

  They shall include their name, county of residence, what organization or

business they are representing with the comment (if applicable), and their topic.

The topic must be a public health issue. The request to make comment shall be submitted to the Public Health Administrator at

scott.clardy@coopercohealth.gov, or by calling 660-882-2626. 

The request can also be made in writing and sent to: 

Public Health Administrator, Cooper County Public Health Center, 17040 Klinton Drive, Boonville, MO  65233.

Speakers will have no more than five minutes to address the Board of Trustees. 

Comments can be made in-person or virtually.  Electronic presentations (e.g. PowerPoint presentations) are not allowed.

If a speaker chooses to bring handouts, they shall bring eight copies. 

Comments must be addressed to the Board as a whole, not to individual Board members or staff.
